Storytelling, Illustration, Documentation and Research expert, Solaiappan finds magic and muse in his immediate environment. From the discarded poem written by an 8 year-old found in a school corridor, to the formation of stones in a botanical garden, Solai sees design in everything.

Design is grounded, volatile, powerful, spirited, broken, and so much more. It has different shades, just as emotions do, and keeps changing and evolving.

Solaiappan or Solai, Sols, Solaiappalam to his friends, is your resident postmaster, gathering stories and writing postcards. When away from his daily design duties, one can find him making paper boats and taking long walks as the sun sets.
