People + AI

The power of AI for impact and social good

People + AI is a community of doers and thinkers, creators and policymakers, researchers and practitioners, startups and corporates and social impact organisations.

People + AI aims to grow into a diverse community of people from all walks of life. Healthcare professionals, educators, farmers, artists, social workers, policymakers, and technologists — all united by the common goal of using AI for the common good. It is a place where AI meets people and purpose.

Where AI meets people and purpose

At the heart of people + ai, there is a desire to build communities that translate ideas to tangible work, with the potential to impact the life of every Indian.

The '+' in the logo represents the power of this exponential change. The '+' creates space for multiple communities and contributors to come together for this shared vision.

Natural colours for a digital brand

The colours are intentionally borrowed from the natural world. Soothing greens of nature, gentle blues of the sky, and hints of earth. This colour palette allows us to break through the clutter of me-too tech brands. We were mindful of choosing colours that ensured accessibility under the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

The 'plus' symbol is the centre of the brand language

We used the visual familiarity of a formula, to illustrate the endless combinations in which the brand could impact different sectors and industries in India.

Using AI to develop brand imagery

While developing the visual language for the brand, we used Midjourney, an AI tool, to create visuals for the brand. Through this process, we had a steep learning curve. In time, with much trial and error, we generated a set of images that represented different industries, cultures and communities that creates the world of people + ai.
